Oliver, I created a second site on the IIS Server we are using for testing, vanilla install, added Latest News EE tested, added com_trombinoscope extended and tested, both are working. I will continue adding extensions until I break it. :)

I'm suspecting a straightforward conflict but now to find it. :(

Thanks for the feedback.

I am doing some testing on my end in the creation of static style files as an alternative to the creation that is done on the fly right now. Sounds promising but I am not quite there yet.
