Block post with subcategories was created by schulzdesign
Hello Oliver,

I want to create a blog post for a team page using Latest News Enhanced.
dhd-consulting.com/teaam

I created the individual employees as articles and added them to the respective subcategory. E.g. team/management.

My questions:
Is it possible to display the subcategories?
Can I display the articles in the order in which they are sorted?

Thanks a lot for your help.
Thorsten

Sincerely,
Thorsten

Hello Thorsten,

yes to both questions.

For the categories, you need to set up a view, it is not available in modules.
In the menu item blog view (version PRO of LNE), go to the 'pagination' tab, 'headings' section.

As far as the order is concerned, you need to select 'console' order to keep the order you have set up in the administration console.

Hope this helps!

Olivier.

Hello Oliver,

many thanks for your response.

I got the sorting done :-)

Unfortunately, I did not understand the information about the categories. Can you tell me exactly where I have to set what?

Many thanks and best regards
Thorsten

Sincerely,
Thorsten

Great!

Showing the sub-categories as headers is not possible when using the module. You need to create a menu item of type blog to get headings (in fact, you would have to modify the menu item /team to be of type blog for LNE).
Headings are in the 'pagination' tab.

If you don't want to replace the module with a menu item, you could also show the category for each individual item ('layout' tab).

Olivier.
