I get an error message with every library update with Joomla 3 and have to install the library package again manually.

I have not seen or had any account of such error so far, so it is news for me. Please don't wait to be annoyed with an issue before reporting it
What PHP version are you using?
What version of Joomla are you under?
Does this happen while installing or after the update has been done?
When you say you have to install the library manually, do you mean the external library used by LNE to function?
Right now, there is little I can do because I can't know where the error is located... I will check the installer file to see what could go wrong and generate such error, however.
Before your next update:
- enable debug mode
- have the extension you need to install manually at hand.
Like that, you will get more information about the source of the error.
Note that there will not be a library update incorporated into LNE in Joomla 3 anymore, as the Joomla 3 versions of the extension will only get bug support from now on.
There may be bug fixes in the library, in which case an update will be initiated, but just for the library.
