Conflict with JCK editor was created by Jocool
Hi,

I have set the parameter of Jquery Easy plugin as shown on Joomla Extensions.
I return to "Article Manager" to edit and publish
a New Article. I received an warning error on time out connection. So I have access neither to the New article and all others articles.
I disable the JQuery Easy plugin. Everything returns to normal.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue is very welcome.

Hello,
are you are talking about issues in the back end? Unless you absolutely need jQuery Easy to take care of jQuery on the administration side, setting jQuery for the backend to 'none' should fix your problem. Editors (like JCK) rely heavily on jQuery and there must be some specific tweaking you may not want to get involved in :-)
If this is not the case, please give me more details (options you set, Joomla! version...). Thanks!

Olivier.

Thanks for your fast reply. When I just send my message, I felt upon the topic "Conflict with JCE editor". And this has helped me resolve the problem.
I have set JQuery at the Back end Administration to "None" and then "Enabled" again the plugin.
Everything returns to normal.
I do appreciate your help. Many thanks!

Nguyen

Hello,
frankly there is no easy answer for this issue.
I would suggest you compare the header part of your page when jQuery Easy is disabled with the same header part when the plugin is enabled. jQuery Easy removes occurrences of the jQuery libraries and replaces them with the one you selected in the parameter list. Make sure the jQuery version you set is compatible with the JCK editor. Make sure the plugin has not removed crucial JCK editor files. Make sure there are proper noConflict() scripts.
Ask yourself if you really need the plugin to be enabled on your website. What are you trying to accomplish in using it? Is it actually fixing other issues?
