file Alpha Index not showing "All" entries

Hi,

please have a look at www.gruppe1031.at/mitglieder/mitglieder.html

When clicking on the Alpha Index "Show all" ("Alle") Link, only some Entries are shown (up to Letter "G"), but not all entries. In the Backend I have set no limitation for number of contacts to display (actually, I have now entered "1000" there just to make sure, but it still only lists contacts up to letter "G").

Can you help?

Thanks
Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,
first of all, to show all contacts, you need nothing entered in the 'count' field, as suggested bu the tooltip.
Secondly, I am not sure you are using the latest version of the component. If so, could you please update the component as there have been fixes for the alphabet index? Please let me know if the problem persists after updating.
Thanks!

Olivier.

Hi!

>> to show all contacts, you need nothing entered in the 'count' field

Actually, entering a value in a field just solved my problem ... :-)

But not in the "Base settings" top field labelled "Max Count (optional)" that I mentioned above, but under the lower section "Pagination", where it says "# of Cards per Page"

I had left that field empty before, as one would assume, entering no value there would default to "all" ... but now that I entered "1000" in the ""# of Cards per Page" field, all contacts show. Very strange!

Using version 1.2.0 of Trombinoscope Extended.

Thanks for taking the time to answer! - Sebastian

I understand the problem.
There is actually a fix in the coming up version 1.3.2 of the component (assuming you are using Joomla! 2.5). You may want to look at the release notes before updating if/when you do.

Olivier.
