Pagination: how to do it? was created by conductorchris
I too am having trouble with pagination. I just want 6 items with the rest bounced over to other pages. No animation, no slider. I had worked it out with Latest News Enhanced, but now I've upgraded I can't work out from the documentation how to do it.

Both old and new modules are at www.railvermont.org/2

Hello,
in this version of LNEE, you can only get pagination if you select an animation. 'Animations' can actually be 'static' and can just occur when going from page to page.
There is ample documentation ('configuration' section) to help you with it.
I would suggest you download the 'scroll' animation from this website. Install it in your console as a regular extension. Go to the 'animation' tab, select that animation, set 'configuration' to 'vertical', 'auto start' to 'no', 'visible items' to '6', 'move' to 'all visible' and 'pagination' to 'Prev - Pages- Next'.
That should do it. Set 'item width' in the 'basics' tab also.

I am actually working on adding a simple pagination without any animation for the next release, but, in the meantime, this solution should work for you.

Olivier, thank you. Following your directions was dead easy. Can I tell you how time I spent spinning my wheels before!
