JQuery Easy problem was created by businesspages
Hi

I cannot seem to get JQuery easy to disably jquery on our website. We are using Joomla 3.3.3. It also does not seem to be disabling mootools

Please see attachement for settings in plugin

Hi

We are using joomla 3.3.3 and jquery easy is not disabling jquery and mootools.

I have set local path to /media/jui/js/jquery.min.js and version to 1.11.1

Your help is appreciated

Hello Scott,

the plugin consolidates jQuery libraries, replaces them with its own but will not remove jQuery from your site. The assumption is: if you have jQuery loaded on your site at least once, your template or some extension(s) have a need for it. Note that if some of your pages have no jQuery library loaded, you have the option to avoid the plugin to load its own.

MooTools libraries are removed in a case by case basis (see the documentation, all cases are listed in there).

Sorry i was under the impression your plugin replaces the google hosted jquery with Jquery that is loaded from Joomla ?

Hello Scott,

it does indeed, starting Joomla 3+, you can choose the option 'Joomla framework' in the jQuery version select box.
