How to edit users information was created by Geert5346
Hello, With a lot of stuggle I created my view with all users I want to be shown, I even managed to to be able to give the users to edit their own information.
But when the edit view appears it has:
- far to many fields that he can edit
- fields he should not be able to edit and even should not be visble (like: Select Editor, Timezone, Multiple Autentication)
- The field 'Aditional Information' (text) that an be formatted text in the window of Contactpersons shows only as unformatted text in the view of all users. (see attachments)
- In the edit mode I cannot edit this field 'Additional Information'
In the help documentation of the site I could not find how to modify the Edit View and its Fields.
Who can help me?

Hello Geert,

you should modify your setup a bit.

You are asking users to update their contact information in their user profile, which will have all user fields plus the contact fields.
Obviously, that is not what you are looking to do.

You should use the other edit option, which is 'view', where users can update their contact information in a specific page, without all the user fields.

Then, go to the global configuration of the extension and to the 'edit' tab. There you can hand pick the fields you want the user to modify.

If a field is not accessible for edition, it does not have proper access.
