Edit all contacts frontend? was created by rbuelund
I have a website with contacts created by different admins in backend. I would like, as webmaster to be able to edit all theese contacts (regardless of who created them) in frontend. I have created a menu item User contacts - but it seems that it shows only contacts that I have created myself, not those created of other admins ??

Hello,

make sure you have the right access permissions to edit the contacts.
Go to the extension's global configuration settings and allow all edit permissions to your user group.

However, if other administrators are part of the same user group as you do and you do not want them to have the same access as you do, I would suggest you create a separate user group for yourself (if you are not the Super User, ask the Super User to do it for you) and give yourself all edit permissions.

Well. I want all members of the webmaster user group (sub group of Administrator) to be able to edit all contacts in frontend. I am member og that group, and the group has theese permissions in Trombinoscope:
Access administration interface
Create
Delete
Edit Edit own
Edit the link

..but still I only see the contacts that I am the creator of, in frontend ??

Have you tried removing 'Edit own' and 'Edit linked'?
Those 2 permissions limit the contact selection.
And make sure if users are part of another user group, those users groups also have no 'Edit own' or 'Edit linked'.

I actually realized this is an issue in TCP: if all edit permissions are selected, 'edit own' and 'edit linked' should not limit the contact editable selection.
