I am in search of a replacement for our website's QContact component, as it is not available for Joomla 2.5.

Is there a way of importing contact information into Trombinoscope, and if so, is there an import directly from QContacts into the component?

Hello!
Trombinoscope or Trombinoscope Extended do not store any contact data. They use the standard Joomla! contact data.
If you are using QContacts and want to use Trombinoscope, you have to convert your contact data back to the standard Joomla! contact data.
We do not provide any tool for this manipulation.
