Good morning Oliver.
I upgraded our Dev site today to see how the latest version is working and have an issue to report.

Clicking a contact results in an error
1054
ERROR: 1054
Unknown column '17julie' in 'where clause' SQL=SELECT name FROM #__contact_details WHERE id = 17julie-sinclair
The path generated by TCP is: joomla.rppeo.ca:8443/contacts/317-resear...clair?referer=module, removing the ?referer=module allows the contact page to be displayed.

Any suggestions?

if I change to ?referrer=module (two r's, not referer) the page also loads as expected.

Niall,

I don't seem to find the issue no matter how I am trying to 'fail' my test sites.

What are your site's global parameters for:
- search engine friendly URLs
- use URL rewriting

What are your Trombinoscope Contacts Pro global parameters (shared options) for:
- SEF advanced links
- default view

Do you have any Trombinoscope view setup (a menu item leading to a Trombinoscope page)?

Ok, I have got an error when contacts are linked to a standard contact view (meaning a contact view that is a Joomla core contact view).

I do not have that error when linking to a TCP contact view.

I am continuing with my investigations.

The error comes from the tebreadcrumbs plugin.
When linking to a standard contact view, the request used to have id_of_contact:alias_of_contact as id for the contact. I removed the request object from all code for 2.4.

Prior to 2.4: call to JRequest on id would return: 7:olivier for instance.
In 2.4: call to JFactory:getApplication()->input on id returns: 7olivier.

I will try and issue a fix as soon as possible.
