Two different latest news modules? was created by Tintifax

Hello,
first thank you for this module, it's great!
Is there a way to have this module two times on different positions with different properties, so I can e.g. display one category at this position and another category at that position?

yes, totally, you can use the module with different configurations on the same page with no risk of conflicts.
